New Example of a Variety of Lie Algebras with Fractional Exponent / Mishchenko S.S. // Vestnik Moskovskogo Universiteta. Seriya 1. Matematika. Mekhanika. 2011. № 6. P. 44-47 [Moscow Univ. Math. Bulletin. Vol. 66, N 6, 2011.]. It is shown that in the case of characteristic zero the variety generated by a simple infinite-dimensional Lie algebra of Cartan type W2 has a fractional exponent.
